Excuse the interruption ,as I try to get this mass email thing down I may
deliver information that is not very pressing. Take it as a slice of life
story. I choose a political Track with State Department so a bully pulpit
is what I now occupy.
First up, Ann Arbor District Library, wrote me the denial letter I
received yesterday. After consulting their vast Applicant pool they "must
inform you that the search committee has determined your qualifications do
not currently meet the needs of the Library, and your application will not
be considered for further review." However they go on to say that "Your
interest in our Library is sincerely appreciated, and we encourage you to
apply for any future positions for which you may be qualified."
I suppose this is to then state that I'm not exactly the most outstanding
member of the pool of fishes looking for a job or that the 10-19 hours
they have will be spread out over 8 days a week so that I'm there everyday
for two hours and have the normal complications of preparing for work.
On the good side, I received a letter from Columbia University and they
expressed interest in having me join them for an opportunity to speak to
them about enrolling in their General Studies School.
I want to thank them for the interest and say that all I can do to make
myself a credit to their Embarrassment of Riches is what I'll do. I've
expressed interest in Sandhurst overseas and I intend to fulfill that
obligation if my one simple demand discussed earlier is met.
I'm looking for housing now the cheapest I've been able to find up until
now is $285 a month if you can beat this in the central campus area please
contact me.
It's alright on the fiscal front, though I've filed seven years of tax
returns to regain my clearance level after being out for quite awhile
Diana and Eral can provide income verification as well as actual income.
On that note, I need money. I can pay you back within two months at the
outside of the time frame, but $500 between the family is nothing Darrun
that means you also. Run the couch cushions and shake Shinika down.
Killwin's told me they need someone to scoop icecream fot 4 days a week
and that seems a good option.
I'm looking into a new business stream with Wal-Mart selling my photos I
have like 4000 now I can ship any where in the USA with shutterbug this
online service 25 cents per 4"x6".
Oh but hey, Somebody needs to tell my mom her grand baby is gonna be
Nordic. I'm gonna be based In northern Europe after the next year.
Iceland, The Hague, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and things keep coming up with
State Dept.. I don't mind at all and just tell her my wife; She's not
going to get to pre-approve so she might as well tell me what she wants
now. Because the child is coming shortly after.I'll need a translate and
someone to tell me what my translator is telling me.
I got a 7.5% mortgage offer from E-Loan on a new airstream, the auto loan
is still underway ,but It looks like the whole thing will be affordable
even if nothing comes through but the Disability I filed for decision
Should come back with in the next month or so so hey $671 dollars a month.
I want to say I applied for the Security job that was being shopped by the
Library I feel more than qualified after My service to nation all the jobs
held and the life lived. I'm asking each of you to do what you've always
done in helping me to secure this job. Bring your pressure to bear. I
understand that life is hard ,but when I have to rely on people to do
things I get upset. I've filled out no less than six applications for
these people and this is getting ridiculous. I know ridicule and this is
it. I wish to thank you for your help and please do your part.

| Subject: | Sums things up perfectly |
From David Byrne's Tour Journal,
http://www.davidbyrne.com/tour_journal_04.html, I think this sums things
up just about perfectly.
April 12, 2004, London
An article in The Economist re quantum computing says that:
-Subatomic particles can have more than one value at the same time
-Having more than one value (like being 0 and 1 simultaneously) is
called "superposition"
-Qubits (quantum computing bits) can be in four different states
at once.
-Quantum Dots are confined clouds of electrons
-Superposition is NOT simple
-When things that have superposition interact with the "classical"
world, the larger world, they become "decoherent"
-Decoherence can be combated using bang-bang pulses. This also helps
maintain entanglement.
-Quantum computing has a tolerance for faults caused by spontaneous
emissions.
